A few days ago I experienced something very special: exhibiting my series “ Badalona a Mosaic ” in one of the most unique and historic spaces in the city.
The place
The exhibition took place in the Badalona Air Raid Shelter , an underground structure built between 1937 and 1938 under Plaça de la Vila, next to the historic City Hall. A space that was originally built to protect the civilian population and which today functions as a cultural and memory site.
The series
"Badalona a Mosaic" is a tribute to this city that inspires me every day. Each work is made in Trencadís Mosaic , an artisanal technique in which images are composed using ceramic tiles, placed one by one. Each piece takes many hours of work and is unique.
I wanted to convey the deep gratitude I feel for this city, paying tribute to it with all my heart and thinking of the neighbors.
The three days
The exhibition lasted three days and I was invited by the Badalona Philatelic Group, to whom I am enormously grateful for trusting my work. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart! ❤️
I am very happy to have been able to be part of it and grateful to everyone who came to see it.
Below is the video and photos of the show. I hope you enjoy it!
